London 2012 hopefuls Alex Jewitt and Louise Hunt head the men's and women's singles entries for the 2011 Esporta Cardiff Wheelchair Tennis Tournament at the Welsh National Tennis Centre in

A total of 36 players will contest the penultimate British-based world ranking event on the 2011 NEC Wheelchair Tennis Tour, with Jewitt and Hunt going into this year's ITF Futures Series tournament as defending champions in their respective singles events.
Newport-based Debbie Brazier, runner-up to Hunt in 2010, again leads the South Wales challenge, and there is further Welsh representation from Lynn Thomas (
Laura and Shaun Swetman (Llantrisant), and Martin French (Peterstone). Swansea
The 2010 men's runner-up Dermot Bailey is among several of
leading juniors who will hope to mount a challenge to current British senior
men's No. 4 and Beijing Paralympian Jewitt, while talented Spanish junior
Daniel Caverzaschi is the sole overseas entrant. Britain
Spectators are welcome, and admission is free.
