Tonight on the Radio Cardiff Sports Show - 7th September 2010

The Cardiff Devils have begun their new Ice Hockey season with two defeats in the Elite League. Our man Simon Williams caught up with some of the players before the weekend’s games to chat about new squad members and prospects for the season.

Against all the odds, Crusaders Rugby League have qualified for the Super League play-offs. We’ll be chatting to Rugby League expert and friend of the show Ian Golden about this amazing achievement and other local Rugby League news.

Last Saturday saw the Cardiff Blues begin their Magners League campaign with an impressive win over Edinburgh. We’ll hear from coach Dai Young and new signing, fly-half Dan Parks just after 7:30.

Yousef will be bringing us a UFC update and all the news from UFC 118.

And of course the big talking point in Welsh football is the apparent imminent departure of John Toshack. We’ll discuss that and possible replacements.
